1. Are you employed? If so, what does your job attire consist of?

Yes, unfortunately. Business casual, so mostly L.L. Bean and The Territory Ahead in my case.

2. How much a month do you spend on clothes?

Depends...most months nothing, this month about $250.

3. What else do you spend your money on?

Mortgage, taxes, the usual suspects.

4. List the top three style icons in your age group that best depicts your style and explain why you chose those icons.

No clue. I guess I don't have any.

5. What is the main influence of your style?

What I think looks good. Usually classic but different enough to suit me.

6. What do you feel is missing from your wardrobe?

Custom shoes.

7. If price weren't an issue what designer brands would you like to have?

Brioni, Kiton, Ascot Chang.

8. What do you feel is needed in menswear?

Certainly not the stuff you see being paraded down the runways.

9. (For a menswear design student) What is the direction of menswear? Do you feel menswear is lacking anything?

I think as clothes enter the electronic age the whole scene will change. Clothes will change colors and patterns based on user input, and should eventually become dirt repellant and/or self cleaning.

10. Chose a celebrity who's style you would like to have.

Hmm...no clue. Celebrities are usually wearing designer crap good for one season because they can afford to replace it all in a few months time.

2. How much a month do you spend on clothes?
Most months, zero. Probably $20/ month average.

Car payment, groceries, utilities, house payments, motorcycle, etc. A small amount on entertainment - beer, music, etc.

4. List the top three style icons in your age group that best depicts your style and explain why you chose those icons.
None.

5. What is the main influence of your style?
Comfort. Simplicity. Availability. Price. Durability.

6. What do you feel is missing from your wardrobe?
I don't own a necktie, but don't really miss it. I would like to find a pair of comfortable leather lightweight outdoor shoes.

7. If price weren't an issue what designer brands would you like to have?
Eddie Bauer. Filson. Cabellas.

8. What do you feel is needed in menswear?
Masculinity.

9. (For a menswear design student) What is the direction of menswear? Do you feel menswear is lacking anything?

10. Chose a celebrity who's style you would like to have.
None come to mind. Most celebrities dress like prissy little b*tches.

1. Are you employed? If so, what does your job attire consist of?
No.

2. How much a month do you spend on clothes?
$500

3. What else do you spend your money on?
Food, gas, car stuff, computer hardware, other electronics, lots of starbucks

4. List the top three style icons in your age group that best depicts your style and explain why you chose those icons.
1. Armani Exchange
2. French Connection
3. Emporio Armani
*these clothing brands are not typical of my age group

5. What is the main influence of your style?
Armani Exchange is a great depiction of who I am. They have sophisticated clothes that is of my age bracket as a college kid and for more formal occasions. Wearing their clothes does show you give a sh!t about what you look like.

6. What do you feel is missing from your wardrobe?
An Omega Aquaterra watch.

7. If price weren't an issue what designer brands would you like to have?
Emporio/Giorgio Armani or Burberry

8. What do you feel is needed in menswear?
Not one size fits all clothes (like Banana Republic), but fitting clothes that holds close but not hugging the body. Flappy clothes only shows sloppiness. As a college kid, most of my peers wear ghetto baggy clothes because it's in, not who they are. What's needed in menswear is self-awareness.

9. (For a menswear design student) What is the direction of menswear? Do you feel menswear is lacking anything?
Yes, refer to #8

10. Chose a celebrity who's style you would like to have.
I don't look at celebrity clothes.
