my friends swine and original post:
"Hope you guys are staying sanitized! I just got tired of seeing all the media nonsense on the issue. Everyone walking around with masks on their faces etc. Thought Id put a comical twist on the whole matter. In any case, this picture was too epic to not post here."

haha, that's pretty good. apparently a canadian farmer gave his pig herd the swine flu not too long ago...maybe they should've been wearing masks!

lol glad to see i'm not the only one that thinks the media is blowing this up too much
When it's all said and done, it's still just the flu.
I was watching the local news and they had some doctor on there talking about ways that you can help prevent catching the swine flu. Cover your cough. Wash your hands. Use hand sanitizer.
As he was reading off this list of things to do, I started to see that it was all the stuff that people should be doing anyway! This is all stuff I do every day, regardless of pig flu.
But to make some light out of it, I've been walking around my office making pig noises to anyone who coughs or sneezes. haha.
This is overreacting to the Swine Flu...
Excerpt: Egypt began slaughtering the roughly 300,000 pigs in the country Wednesday as a precaution against swine flu even though no cases have been reported here, infuriating farmers who resisted the move and demanded compensation.
The measure was a stark expression of the panic the outbreak is spreading around the world, especially in poor countries with weak public health systems. Egypt responded similarly in recent years to an outbreak of bird flu, which is endemic to the country and has killed two dozen people.
