Taipei to do's...car related stuff
i live in taipei now and have not seen anything of interest as far as a car scene goes (but i am by no means an expert). i've seen maybe three S2000s in over a year and a half. if you go by neo 19/room 18/warner village on a weekend night you might see ferraris, porches, higher-end mercedes and the rare lambo, but that's about it.
kenting has a ton of go-kart places, which was quite fun. if you're only there for a short amount of time i suggest you just bask in the awesome food and clubbing.

i've been to taiwan dozens of times, and i've seen suped up cars here and there but i don't think they have a ton of shops.
i know junction produce is up there tho. as far as spocom, i see a lot of exotics rather than suped up import cars..

Oh man, let's have an S2000 d00ds meet @ Club Luxy. I'm on vacation in Taiwan right now 'til June 17.
As far as cars go, I have fun looking at cars not available in the US. I see quite a bit of Suzuki Solio. They're pretty cool little cars, and with rims, even better. I've also noticed mid-level sedans look much classier here. They have chrome accents around the windows, wheel arches, lights, etc. Weird how such little things make the car look $5000 more.
A word of warning, hold your breath around intersections. The moped and bus fumes kill me. Also, bus drivers don't stop for pedestrians.
