Default Take this typing test...

I type everyday at work, but only in little spurts, never even a full paragraph, so when a co-worker asked me what my WPM was I really didn't know. I opened Google, typed in "typing test", clicked the first link that came up ( http://www.typingtest.com/ ) and took the test. Here are my results...

Although 69-71 WPM sounds good, this was their easy test, so it's not really that great of a score, but just for grins, lets see where you stack up.

Click on Begin Typing Test, wait for it to load, click Next, and once you start typing it'll start calculating. Remember that accuracy is important, and you won't have to type the entire paragraph, it stops you half-way through to get the calculation. Only take the test once, and post your #'s!

71-85 WPM here. Not sure how long I could sustain that pace without starting to screw up a bit though.

54 WPM

I type all the time, but I never have to type very fast....and I think that I type faster ( or with fewer mistakes ) when I am not copying what I read.
