On http://www.greatmodels.com/ they have the kit I have seen in stores, 24245, but they also have this slightly more expensive kit, 89594, that has "Limited Edition Metal Plated Body, optional closed or open top, rubber tires."

Anyone familiar with the latter?

Looks like they also have 24211, but I thought this was the older version of the kit.

 

I have the 24211 and it has the option of closed or open roof and rubber tires. Just a plastic shell though.

Just depends on what one 'you' want.

I got mine because its the same year and colour as mine.
