half filipina/half white... well i'm actually half-filipina/half-italian...

it's actually spanish for half-mexican/half-spanish... i think, something like that. the spanish settled the phillipines so we have a lot of spanish words that have been integrated into tagalog.

 

this question is a friggin double edged sword. i think skin color preference really depends a lot on facial features AND hair color, IMHO. With that, I really dont like seeing pale asians with super dark, jet black hair. It just doesnt look right to me.

I love the skin color of mixed people though. Specifically, black/asian and filipino/white. If theyre pale, they tan well. And I've never seen one who gets the dark gene....

 

not super duper dark and not super duper white/pale... thats my preference. honesetly, as long as she has good features and she aint a bitch (and as long as she's not too demanding, clingy, and knows how to appreciate my s2k) then i'm fine. i'm not to hard to please.

i'm not too big of a fan of mestizas. i prefer straight filipino. preferably one that speaks the language and knows the culture... much like myself.

 

halfsie doesn't necessarily mean white-washed... i'm more in touch with my culture than a lot of full filipino kids i know. a lot of the filipinos i went to school with were embaressed of their culture, it's sad. i'd joke around with them and start speaking tagalog to them and they'd get all red and quiet.

filipino enough for you? i do encounter the occasional white washed pinoy and i put my head down in shame... by "i'm not too big of a fan of mestizas. i prefer straight filipino. preferably one that speaks the language and knows the culture... much like myself. " i meant i just like people that are in touch with the culture and know the language... not neccessarily hating on whitewashed ppl... my gf is pretty whitewashed... i just make fun of her all the time... i wish she spoked the language so i can sing to her in tagalog hehehehe uber cheesy....

 

I'm kinda white-washed. But that's only because white guys dig me (and Asians too). J/K! I'm half traditional, half white-washed.

 

does it matter? you cant be TOO bad, i mean we DO drive the same car... thats a sign of excellent taste =)
