I thought it was better to be married when filing taxes?
Does the return decrease since you are legally joined?

well, it just so happens my hubby trades heavily on the stock market. so, even though you lose money on stocks, you still have to pay taxes oh well. it was all that trading that enabled me to buy my honda. so, i can't complain too much.

Sounds like I'm in the Minority. Bought a house and lost in the market, getting about $3K back. Instinct screams Turbo, but my instincts are never very good. It'll go toward the mortgage.
