Default Tech Help: Linksys Wireless Modem Card Get Signal But Cannot Connect To Internet???

I've been using my trusty Linksys 2.4Ghz wireless modem card for a month without problems. I have a Linksys DSL router at home and it works perfectly too. Then suddenly one night, I am stil with a fair/good signal but I am unable to connect to the Internet. Can someone help? Thanks

Have you power cycled the router? They can sometimes loose their IP address lease from the network.

I have a Linksys router and sometimes it craps out (I have a fixed IP address). A power cycle is just the trick. Also check the Linksys site for your route and see if there is an updated firmware for the router.

Pull the plug, wait 5 or so seconds, plug it back in.

If you are using XP right-click on the wireless internet icon near the "Time" on the bottom right part of the screen on the lower tool bar. Go to properties, click advanced, click refresh, then click apply when it finishes. This does the trick for me.
