The driver only sustained a small injury to his finger...pretty amazing.

I read on the F1 forums that no one survived. even the rescue crew got wasted from the others in the field gassing through the carnage.

I am glad to say that I have seen this happen and was able to be fixed. Unfortunately it's just not the same anymore.
