Yahweh! It must have been a very high molarity of the sulphuric acid. They'll catch the guy he'll be sentenced harshly - or too leniently depending on whom you ask. What a horrific scene it must have been.
I work in an industrial facility. Actually it is a Department of Energy site that is part of the national Nuclear complex. (Savannah River Site in Aiken, SC). We have about 34 million gallons of HIGHLY radioactive, highly toxic, and HIGHLY corrosive nuclear waste left over as a result of chemical separations necessary to extract U-238 and Pu-238. That material is stored in 49 underground tanks ranging in size from 600,000 gallons to 1.2 million gallons.

yeah, my brother was there earlier in the year and he said that the tv news always had news stories of a bus crashing or people dying on roads- same story just different names, thats why they have a road toll of almost a million a year, a really fast growing economy that wants to get somewhere.
