I guess whe you have that many, it's easy yo miss one in the bus and for the neighbors to be unsure of how many live there.

One, or even two parents can't give the attention these kids need and deserve...Never mind that I can't imagine giving birth that many times.

My aunt/uncle have 12. It was interesting seeing them pack up for a trip. They had two Suburbans (so that half the family could go one place and the other half go another, if needed) plus a Dodge 15 passenger van.

I met a guy with 17 kids from one wife. He had 57 grand kids.

That is a lot of kids for these days. Maybe there are "sister wives" as they are called.

I went to grade school with a girl who was one of 16. Her family even got recognized on Oprah one time. I wouldn't even remember everybody's name and end up calling them "bro" or "sis".
