but then again being albino doesnt make animals better and it still happens naturally.

being gay isnt the dominant trait obviously but I think it is natural in some cases and by choice in others.
Your right, but in nature albinos are often weak and die before mating....they are not strong enough to compete with other males/females.
I agree that on a VERY rare occasion there could one that is "born" honosexual. Unlike the albino, that atleast has a chance at mating, the homo wont and that mutation will die out.

as for the albino "gene"(note i am not sure if there is one or not) it may not seem to make the host better but it does have it's reasons.

I dont think there is a specific gene for being homosexual...but i belive that a variety of predetermined conditions lend to that comming out.....

many gay people are very depressed and feel differnt and alone....

if it was completely a "do i wanna be gay" question, then who would choose to be ostracized?

Many people feel depressed and alone for many different reasons, but doesn't mean that is was genetic.
Its not a "do I want to be gay" thing. The factors are enviromental. There isn't a dormant gene that becomes activated and then the person is gay. No, series of events take place in their life in which they associate pain or some other negative emotion with the opposite sex. I don't know why you think gays/homosexuals are ostrasized. To be ostrasized, one is totaly left out of society and that is just not the case. If it were, there would be no gay pride parades, shows like Will and Grace, Ellen, etc. Another example is look at all the money AIDS research gets. It dwarfs the amount recieved for cancer and yet it is a nearly 99% preventable condition. Is it strictly a gay disease....no. Do gay men make up an overwhelming majority of those effected...yes.

I'm getting off the topic...In short, no matter how bad interest groups want to their to be a genetic cause for homosexuality, there isn't one.

im currently in high school....the most common insult is "faggot" "homo" "your gay" etc etc...

there are several gay people and no they arent completely shunned but taking a general cross section of the school population I would say more people think their being gay is wrong/dislike them solely based on that than people who are indifferent.

I do think this is changing...as in the examples you cited....most of those are fairly recent developments.
