Like alot of us out there, I'm sure you got used to using Napster only to eventually have it swept from under you. SInce then I've tried just about everything from Gnutela, WinMX etc. They all suck! What are you guys using and what do you think of it?

First, and for a while I had winMX, which is really good, gives you lots of hits for songs, but now I am using this thing called I-MESH, and man it's fast, I just hit accelarate, and I always get good speeds downloading, highly recommended!

I like KaZaa for most of my downloading. eDonkey2000 is another program, great for movies.

I've tried WinMx and it keeps on kicking out due to fatal errors. Pretty much settled down with Grokster. Works pretty good......
For pure ftp I was using LeechFtp and it was awesome. Just changed to it's successor BitBeamer both do multi-threaded xfers.....With a DSL connection you can get on a site and enable 15(the max allowed) xfer threads and just about pull the hard drive from the site through the phonelines
Course prolly need to make sure it's okay with the site operator cause I've been told that any other activities on the remote hard drive pretty much come to a halt.
What is really useful though is setting up 2-5 threads for each site, filling up the queue and then getting them all at once.
