One of our most esteemed members started a thread recently identifying types of people whose posts drive him crazy. Following in the footsteps of this elder, I have something to get off my chest about a certain type of poster.
It has to do with people who take up thread space to masturbate mentally. There have been a few recent incidents where one person in particular (his screen name won't be mentioned but he's not hard to find) has repeatedly ejaculated his words of wisdom in an attempt to prove his superior intellect. He gives us peeps into his universe and expects us to orgasm. He provides references and quotes that he has rubbed with his signature salve. The tantalizing thing is that while doing this, his lips don't move.
Others have also sought to dominate us with their lurid, twisted positions. Treating board members like bimbos, they tongue lash us with their thinly veiled barbs and spikes looking for hints of submission. The need to handcuff others' opinions compels them to whip facts out of context to drive their point home, especially if it means facial humiliation.
To the Mental Masturbators, I say "Put a
on it! You're BORING!"
To my fellow bimbos on the board, I say...........

Perhaps your interpretations of said poster's intentions are wrong. Perhaps this user is simply engaging in debate because it is something he or she enjoys. Perhaps what you see as a "need to handcuff others' opinions" is no more than a counterattack after said user is bombarded by childish namecalling.
