make something.. helped my girlie make a bunch of hula hoops last week cuz she's kind of a hippy.

Keep an eye out for random things that other people do on TV. Rob & Big and fantasy factory are the best. We took a copy of the Guinness book and tried to see if we could break any records.

Gets some straps for your bed, a whip, and a rabbit.

stuff to do away from your apartment.. children's museums/science centers. shooting range. hookah bar. rock climbing. live music.

I understand exactly what you're talking about. My wife and I bought our house 18 mos ago after 4 years of apt living.

Suggestions:

Board Games - Yahtzee, Uno, Scrabble, etc. Buy 1 that you both like every couple of weeks. You'd be surprised how much fun they are as adults. If you have some neighbors you like get them involved too.

Wii - I bought one just so the wife and I could play together. They're pretty female-friendly and we used it a lot while we were in the apt.

Walks - Take one every night. Apts aren't big enough for 2 people so getting out for 30-45 minutes goes a long way. When you have time go to a park.

Find things to do on your own around town other than shopping. I picked up a weekly poker game, a bowling league twice a year, regular trips to the driving range/golf course, etc. I also mixed in time with friends w/o the Mrs.

Cook real meals - Take the time to learn some new recipes and cook for each other. It isn't the most fun thing in the world, but it beats being bored on the couch staring at a TV. Do like I did and gradually wean yourself out of the process and come home to a hot meal every night!

The biggest advice I can give you: Don't make the mistake of being right on top of each other all the time.

on a real note. board games do the job, the wii is somehow good to, making a real meal together is a +, inviting friends over for dinner or a drink, getting a gym subscription is big for us.
