sorry if its a repost, that thread really makes you think about the stupid things we've done in the past.

 

Im pretty sure this was posted, but street racing in any form is stupid no matter if its an open road to a busy highway..Its just plain dumb and deadly..

 

I really agree. I was involved in my very first street race the other day. SOme punk just wouldnt leve me alone at like 10pm wed. night. He just kept revin and cutting my off so i finally snaped and went after him. I gunned it and pulled up next to him to prove my point then let off of it. About sec 15 later we both turn left down a street and he turns into a bar type place (that i was headed to in a min) and i continued straight and truned righ about 1/4th mile up the road. As i turn in my girlfriend calls me and tells me theres a cop coming after me and i look in my rear view mirror and sure enough hes sitting right there waiting for me to park. Well to make a long story short, i awensor all his questions with a "Yes Sir, No Sir" and I am completly honest and fes up to it. He gave me a warning! I WILL NEVER RACE ON THE STREET AGAIN! THATS A PROMISE! REAL MEN TAKE IT TO THE TRACK! (the whole track, cuz real racers turn left and right). So i end up going to the club and at the end of the night im stangind with a couple ladies next to my car (its warming up) and some kid comes up to me and asks if i want to race an new altima for money. I said "sure, whens the next time youll be at the track" and he said what do you run in the quarter. I say no not the quarter the whole track and he says theres no way in hell he gonna race me on the track and walks away. DORK!
