I dont shop at any of these stores regularly, but all the points brought up are pretty damn weak. It sounds like somebody has a grudge and is just trying to come up with any little reason to bash those places. Laaame

so not one person agreed with the OP so far.

oh.. and BTW, #5 is stupid. Store receipt does not have the full CC# on it, but only the last 4digits. So the customer sounds like an A-hole.

hmm, costco employees were pretty rude to me once, but otherwise they carry good merchandise and the stuff they carry is pretty good quality, even their generic (kirkland signature) brands are pretty good.

and costco food is excellent for the price they charge

We dropped our BJ's membership a couple of years ago because much of their stock was out dated. Sam's seems to do better.

That article sucked donkeydicks. I pay 10-15 cents less/gallon for gas there, and have a costco Amex where I get 1-2k back every year. The seiko watch one is stupid. It would have lifetime warranty at costco.

My biggest problem with costco is they don't have a store in our state.

Been shopping at Costcofor 15+ years and never experienced anything in the article. Worthless article IMO.

I DO buy diamonds and other jewelry at Costco and Sams. The pricing rocks!!

A friend of mine who is a jeweler is the one that turned me onto Sams and Costco. I've taken everything I've bought to him and had him check it out and have gotten a superb deal on everything.

I feel confident buying there because as someone mentioned they have a great return policy. If something were ever to end up having stinko pricing I'd simply return it.

The differential between regular and premium at Costco is only 20 cents a gallon not the 30 cents that most gas stations charge plus the fact that gas is usually cheaper there means that I usually save a bundle on gas at Costco.

Yesterday premium was 20 cents a gallon cheaper that at the lowest priced gas stations.
