third party property damage

can someone enlighten me on this?

i have a cheap Hyundai Getz which got appraised AUS$7k which is approx US$5.8k

is it worthwhile to have comprehensive or tppd?

it is A LOT cheaper to get tppd for me

Why don't you ask your insurance company and/or agent? They should be able to help you out.

comprehensive will cover things like theft, vandalism, fire damage, weather damage. Basically, any damage that could happen to your car that is NOT the result of an accident. Probably not worth it on such an inexpensive car.

^^I wonder if its the same in Australia.

My Comprehensive for the S even covers my mistakes!! I hope i never have to use that claim
