What language do you dream in?

I speak Japanese&Korean. But when my friends asked me this question, I couldn't answer. I don't remember if I speak Japanese, Korean, or English in my dreams. It's more like I know what they are saying before they speak, weird huh?

i speak vietnamese and english...

i dont remember most of my dreams, but when i think in my head i think in english...that's maybe because i'm an american-born vietnamese tho...

i had a teacher who spoke 7 different languages (he went to school in cape verde where he said they taught every subject in a different language) and he said he thought in italian and spoke in whatever language he was talking...

Hey C-West s2k,
I speak viet too, not often though so I'm really bad at it. I also speak french and studied latin. I think this is the best thread idea, since my dreams come true, sometimes.

When I was taking Japanese lessons I used to dream in Japanese sometimes.... but the strange thing was that a lot of the time I couldn't understand what I was saying in my dreams

(And yes that is true, not a joke!)

I speak a combination of Korean and English while dreaming ... I also dream in color about 99% of the time. I'm also kind of a weird case though because I'm what they call a "vivid" dreamer ... i.e. I can control the events of my dream and take control of situations within my dreams ... odd eh?

The unconscious is an amazing thing.
