TriaXenginE, what would you recommend for some putter choices?
I have a Taylor Made Nubbins putter right now and I can't say I like it all that much. It just doesn't feel right.

I would love to get one of those, but I'm afraid those putters are a little more than I can spend right now

hmmm. I really love Ping putters. Call me old-fashioned, but a normal, heavy, well balanced putter cant be beat. Putters like the nubbins and the white hot have sweet spots that are hit or miss. A good Ping putter is much more consistent.

Just my $.02

Scotty Camerons are very nice putters. I used to collect them and so did MistaSnipes. They offer excellent feel, but honestly, they're more of a status thing. If you have the money, get one, but there are putters out there that feel just as good, for half the price.

The Mizuno TP series is a great putter, same concept as Scotty Camerons, forged, carbon steel. They feel great.

If you want something that'll take the guesswork out of aiming, try the Odyssey 2-Ball. It feels great and works wonders on short putts. These sell like hotcakes, more than any other putter.

I personally use a bronze, ping anser now. I've reverted back to my roots for the time being.
