I don't trust people with two first names.

(that statement makes about as much sense as this politician's xenophobic failure to consider that the United States has always been home to speakers of dozens of languages, and that's part of what makes it great.)

Oops. Thread killer strikes again.

P.S. nice Tarantino reference. "I said, 'does he look like a bitch?'"

Until recently when groups of people moved to the United States most of them learned to speak English, even if they spoke their old language at home. So I do understand where Tim is coming from on this.

With that said, while I don't know Tim I've met and talked with his dad several times and he is certainly not one of my favorite people. I have done business with one of Tims' businesses and I wasn't thrilled by it. I don't think he would get my vote...

Maybe we should focus on only one language for the time being. A large portion of our population (not picking on Alabama) knows no other language but English and still barely speaks coherently. Of course something along the lines of 80% of the adult population doesn't understand basic fractions either.

Everyone knows being bilingual is impossible anyways. Switzerland is a mess.
