I would just like to show how FAR superior Hondas quality is compared to any American car company.

My mom got stuck with a Focus as a replacement to here previous Sable that died twice and had to be towed to the dealership. So far the Focus has had:

5 Saftey Related Recalls , including the following: (1) The rear wheel may seperate from the vehicle during operation, and, (2) the A-pilar will not sustain its expected load during a collision and will collapse!!!!!! Wonderful car that Ford would sell to people.

Also, the focus is now on its 7th Windsheild Wiper Motor !!!!! Thats right, the windsheild wipers have completely died 5 times during horrible rain storms and the 6th one died 15 minutes after being installed!!!!!

NEVER BUY A FORD!!!! IF YOU KNOW OF ANYONE WITH A FOCUS, BE SURE THAT THEY HAVE HAD ALL OF THE RECALLS TAKEN CARE OF BECAUSE THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE THEIR LIVES ARE IN DANGER WHILE DRIVING THAT CAR!!!

A final note: They just announced on the news that the new tires Ford used to replace the "dangerous" Firestone tires that were causing rollovers, are MORE dangerous & have caused more accidents than the original Firestone tires!!!!

in addition, in points out that the new Expedition, new Navigator, and new baby Navigator have all been delayed in coming to market because of quality control problems. At least this time, they aren't using customer's and their lives as the guinea pigs.

finally, interesting story that the replacment tires are failing at a higher rate than the firestone tires did. seems to vindicate firestone and point the finger at a crappy design in the explorer.
