tiny windshield bubbles
I have 45k miles. I can barely see out of my windshield when sun is shining through it. They are definitely rock chips due to the slope of the windshield and perhaps the poor glass quality or something. Time to talk to my dealer!
Acid rain and rock chips eat at the surface. All windshields get this way, haven't you people ever had a car before? It usually takes ~40-50 K miles before it is noticable, living in a city exacerbates the problem.
My car is brand new and I have the marks but every car I have owned has this it is the way safety glass is made. There is a "sheet" in the middle of the glass for the safety breakage. That is why the glass is not crystal clear. Also. this car being very low and the hood sloped you are more prone to debris flying up and hitting the windshield. The only up side is the windshield is small and relatively cheap. You can replace it for about $175.00 So once it is beyond anoying just replace it.
