Default Tip Or No Tip When Picking Up To Go Food?

I feel like a nerd not tipping when I pickup stuff but recently my g/f scolded me for tipping. She said I shouldn't tip since there's no real service??? What say you???

No tip. Pointless since no service was provided to you.

I agree, no sit-down, no tip. Since there is no waitress making 2.50 an hour serving you, you shouldn't feel obligated. Just as you shouldn't at places like Quizno's (even though the bastards put out a tip jar..)

Ev is one of the nicest guys I know. . . in this case, to a fault.

No tip.

If it's a place I go to regularly, and they know me by name, I leave a tip of a much lesser percentage.
