Tipping your mechanic

Sometimes, I forget or don't even pay my mechanic ... He's lost count of it anyway. And he hates me for modifying my car but will tune it to produce the best it will ever produce. But I always buy him a beer to calm his head down at times, he's an ex-Honda F1 mechanic and he's a good friend who always try to make me keep my car as stock as possible telling me what Honda R&D has spend to produce a car like that ... Blah, Blah and Blah.
