Sorry I have to rant here...

Went to a tire shop to put on my S-02's from tirerack, and after I got back to work I noticed that they put them on backwards...oh well, I guess I'll have to rotate them around tonight when I get home.

 

ARGGGH I'll join this rant.

How about a shop that put the wrong sized tires on the wrong wheels. Goddam mofo's, then they argued with me that it was correct and that was how your supposed to mount them... Idiots

 

Have you tried Discount Tire? They seem to give a $hit and do the job right, including torquing the lugs to 80lbs. They also give free wheel balancing for the life of the tire and fix flats for free on tires purchased from them.

actually, this uhmmm, well, this fee, just say 'do you mind cutting that back to like 5 bucks a wheel instead of 7.95 (or whatever the cost), and oh, those valve stems, c'mon, cut me some slack there too, I know they only cost you 3cents a piece and you are charging me 3 bucks a pop for them too.

I used to work at TXH27 and TXH12, so if I go in saying those items and old manager names - who seem legendary - they usually only charge me the bare minimum for everything. but I just luck out like that <g>
