OK, this isn't a "New Years Resolution" type thing where we're talking about altering behavior - this is things you have planned to accomplish (it's even better if it has a finite start and finish). I know there are some regular things people would post like "drive/race my S2K more", or "get more tail", but those are a given

OK, my list (by category):

WORK
Deploy final production app for the DS and USPS
Sign off on rehab system, get final payment
Complete C&A for new fed project
Convert existing forendics apps to Oracle 10g (from SQL2K5)

PERSONAL
Enter an actual organized 15K run
Learn guitar (re-learn better, kind of open ended figure learn two decent songs)
Convert all CDs to MP3 (I want all music CD's gone before the end of '09)
New ink (planned for last year, but will happen this year)
Run Roebling (at least once with new ride, kind of car related too)

HOMESTEAD
Replace/close soffets on homestead with critter-proof design
Elimate existing critters in attack space (goes with above)
Paint garage and do floor treatment
[These two are kind of work related]
Rewire phone lines w/ DSL breakout box, new drops in server closet
Redo servers, mount racks

CARS
Get/install lip, wing, strakes (S2K)
Get wheels finished, installed, suspension modified (S2K)
Install FI!! (S2K - likely 3Q-4Q)
Fix scuff on fender/overfender (T4R)


That's all I can think of off the top if my head - I have a bunch of things that are kind of givens: be a good Dad, keep sexing up the woman, improve workouts, drink/eat and enjoy the **** out of life , but those are kind of ongoing (and were already happening before 2009). I was _tempted_ to put "retire" given some stuff I have on deck, but business changes so quickly, I didn't want to jinx it

 

Work:
- Be more diligent and be less lazy
- Improve presentations, have better self-confidence

Business:
- Work and complete website
- Get more clients (at least 25% more than 2008)

Personal:
- Go out and snowboard at least 3 times this season
- Be more active and do more outdoor activities
- Date more and find "the one"
- At least one track day with the S2k
- Buy a new TV and theater system and maybe a gaming system
- Get rid of the beer gut
- Get laid
