Im new to the game. Can u help me out with any tips on how to win a lot of money or who to race. Why do i only win 500$ on some races and then i can win 5000$ on another race. And how do i get bonuses. Thanx a lot for the help. P.S. This game rocks!

 

When you beat everycar in a Car club (usually 6 or so) you get a chance to run against the boss of that club. He will pull up behind you and start it. He is worth more cash. After you thump enough gangs one of the 13 Devils will challenge you and he is worth even more. The Wanderers are worth a lot too. As you defeat more and more even the chumps are worth more cash.

 

I was told that Game Shark 2 has a cheat that gives you infinite cash.

 

That doesn't sound that bad...
but... collecting money to buy the STRONGER engine is what the game is fun about..!! isn't it?

 

well, since I don't have a gameshark, I'll do the manual, long, extended and tiring type of cheat, but its not a cheat really.

when you find a wanderer, say one that is really easy to beat, for instance the van - ha! race him all over the place and pick up 4K (minimum) each time you race him. Thus, 4K+ x 10 is about 45K because of the pocket change. I have mine sitting at home racking up about 250K so when the next motor for my R34 comes up, I'll be able to afford it right then or else get a viper or something of the sort. Right now I only have the 716hp motor in my R34 which ran me about 185K.

 

The problem isn't the money. If you put in enough hours you'll get the money sooner or later. Actually, at different stages you get like a few million dollars after you beat the head car for that stage, so money is plentiful later on. It's those freak'n Wanderers that won't race you towards the end. Once you reach about 30 cars left. It's a bitch to figure out how to get them to race you. Different car, different time, different direction, etc. Who knows. I'm just going to have to get the game guide, I guess.

 

When you get the game guide let me know. I am down to just the wanderers left also.

 

Got to finish TXRZ before GT3, after that I probably won't be playing it for a long time.
