Is it too late to change career?

Mingster,
Before you change careers from a "computer weenie" to a lawyer, you should take a hard look at the opportunities your MBA will open up for you. . .
I considered law school before my I did my MBA two years ago(I already had a BS in Civil Eng & and M.S. in Environmental Eng). However, IMO the MBA is the way to go. . .
On average (dollar for dollar), you will make more w/ an MBA (depending on what you do with it) than you can as a lawyer. . .
Not saying that money is everything, but before you lock yourself into another 3 years of school (before you're done with your current degree) see what options you have. . . You might find out that the MBA is all you need (then again, you might not). . .

thanks guys for the words of wisdom. it's just that i've been in computers basically all my life (for the last 10 years of my "professional" life anyways), and since i'm about a year away from finishing up my MBA program, i have no idea what opportunities are out there.

Over the years I have been a Distribution Center Manger, Warehouse Manager, Customer Service Manager, Manager of Warehouse and Inventory Systems, Regulatory Compliance (FDA,DEA,OSHA,FAA, etc)Director. All career changes but also all help to build a better understanding of your next job and how it relates to other functions in the business. In short, as said before, never to old.

The funny thing about having a law degree is that it instantly gets you both no respect, and a great deal of respect at the same time. I still don't really understand it.
I would also add that as someone that passed the bar at the ripe old age of 25, I was too young to understand how business operates. I got my bearings fast, but if I had been older, I would have had a more comfortable experience during law school and in making the transition into practice.
