Am I the only one that gets too many magazines? We have paid subscriptions to several automotive and horse related magazines and we get free subscriptions offers to many others.

What magazines do you get?

We get: Autoweek, Car & Driver, Road & Track, Motor Trend, SportsCar, Sport Compact, North American Pylon, and the Pylon in the car pile.

In the critter pile we have: Dressage Today, Equus, Equine Journal, and Cocker.

In the miscellaneous pile: Discover, PC Magazine, PC World, Yahoo, Caribbean Travel and Life, Conde Nast Traveler, Outside, AL Living, Readers Digest, Gear, Playboy, Stuff, Shape, Redbook, Wine Spectator, and two Golfing magazines.

There are several others that go straight to the trash that I can't think of right off. There's also an offer for seven more at no charge on my desk. It's almost like we

My fiancee is a doctor, we must get at least 10 different medical journals/newsletters/magazines a week just because of that. Count in my NY Times, WSJ, SCC, Turbo, Stuff, European Car and we have more recycle items than regular trash.

My wife was really pissed when she picked it up and saw that it was addressed to her! They send all kind of things saying you like beautiful women, too -- and it's all addressed to her.

BTW, you still suck.

funny you should mention that... i see people reading entire books in those "comfy" chairs.... I also see people take magazines into the coffee shop, read them, then put them back.....

---- I need to add 2 magazines to my list - Grass Roots Motorsports and Popular mechanics... so I get 19 mags per month (plus any UK stuff that I buy)

Holy cow! do you ever calculate how much money you are spending on the mags per year? I subscribe to only C & D at home. why, b/c even though i luv reading forza, classic car, etc.. etc... I don't want to waste my $, and more importantly, I hate the thought killing soooo many trees for info. that could easily be read online or at B&N.

btw, i hate it when people at B & N go to the coffee shop or worse the BATHROOM with "their" reading materials. I try to buy something at B&N to pay for my magazine subscriptions.
