I think its pretty rediculous to parallel park when there is no reason and like 20 spaces and 5 cars parked in an obscure part of the private parking garage. The garage is private to people who work in my building, and I park on almost the top deck, If someone is that blind to not be able to see the other spot is worthless, then so be it I guess. Not like the garage is packed either. I normally wouldn't give this a second thought, but I'm definately not parking straight just for this tool in the BMW and giving him the satisfaction of actually making an impact on how I have been parking for the past 6 months almost. I hardly consider being a hog when there are SUV's parking in compact spaces. I'm done venting now... maybe I'll eventually park different but not for this guy...

I don't support taking up 2 spaces in any situation, and the note Wantone left on your car is what I'd expect.

just find a spot near the wall or curb and park as near as possible. i do that, it prevents door dings and most importantly, doesn't make people angry.

i understand that the 2nd spot was useless, but most people are ignorant and fail to see that. they come out and just see a nice car taking up two spots, and it makes them pissed off.

btw nothing is funnier/worse than seeing a early 90's beatup saturn taking up 2 spots at my job, and the lot is always busy.

I think the thing that made me mad more than anything is that the way the note was left. Like if I owned a BMW it would be OK to double park, but since it's "only a Honda" I have no right. That's what makes me want to keep parking the way I do more than anything just to spite that er

the guy was making fun of you, comparing you to a BMW owner. don't think he meant that if you had a BMW it would be ok.
