Some of those were pretty sweet. I just wonder how effective this kind of stuff really is.

 

^^ I've never seen any of them in a magazine, TV, billboard, etc.
Obviously not that effective since they are not going to the proper media outlets

 

when i used to live in singapore they posted disgusting pictures of smoker's lungs, livers, teeth, etc. ON the pack of ciggs.

not sure how effective that was even..

Whats really the point of anti-smoking ads? I mean is there really any smokers out there that think smoking is good for them?

I'm a smoker, i know it bad for me, and I don't care . I can't see how any ad will ever change that, people quit when they are ready, not because they see an ad on tv/magazine/ect.

 

there really are some that don't think it's bad for them. however, more ads won't convince them.

There were some cool ads there.. but ya, I'm a smoker, and no ad is going to magically stop me from smoking. Would be cool if it did though.

Canada has the pics of lungs, and dead kids and such on the pack, it does nothing to stop you from smoking.
