Sounds like you went to a bad strip club.
Just my bit of travel advice
I've seen 2 of those: the Grand Canyon & Niagara Falls.
Of the others, the only ones that interest me are Angel Falls and the Great Barrier Reef. I've wanted to see Angel Falls since somebody gave me a "Guiness Book of World Records" when I was about 7, and I read that it was the tallest waterfall in the world. As for the Great Barrier Reef... I just want to see all of the highlights of Australia someday, so this seems like it would be on the list.
I disagree w/ Skuzzy. I think that travelling to see stuff is the best use of one's time that is possible. But I think the voyage is just as important, if not moreso, than the destination. All of my best memories have been formed while travelling... whether it was road trips with my parents as a kid, or touring Europe with my best friend, or making random new friends in other parts of the world. I can't think of a better way to spend time and money.

Been to three (Grand Canyon, Niagara Falls and Great Barrier Reef), turned down a chance at Rio (have family in Brazil, will probably eventually go back), and if all falls into place, I caould be in Alaska in September this year.

Absolutely, traveling is awesome. But what I have to think too many people travel to "see stuff" rather than experience the places they are going too, and in my opinion, being a checklist traveler is the wrong way to go.
