Default Toyota Matrix

I just got a chance to win a Toyota Matrix. It looks like the IS300 wagon. Is it the same car?

If I'm not mistaken, the IS300 wagon is just that, an IS300 wagon. The Toyota Matrix is actually more akin to the Pontiac Vibe but I'm not positive.

It's the same as the pontiac Vibe, look at october MT page 114 "A mechanical and conceptual twin to the jointly developed pontiac vibe" i think it looks kinda cool.

I think it is kinda neat too. I believe (and correct me if im wrong) that the Matrix also comes with a variant of the Rav4's AWD system. I think this puppy will be a serious competitor for the popular Protege 5

Matrix is based on the FRONT-DRIVE Corolla (next generation).

The IS300 5-door is another version of the sedan, a REAR-DRIVE vehicle. Unfortunately, they are offering the 5-speed manual only with the 4-door.

I just purchased one of these "boy racerz" for a daily driver. I have the Mazda Protege-5.

I have to say I am very impressed with the build quality and the sporty chassis. It sure is lacking a little hp but its fast enough also the gear box is a little sloppy... but I am comparing it to the S2000. Anyways here are some pics of it.

If Honda doesnt stop making their cars so damn conservative I have a feeling they are going to start loosing market share. They lost me I have had 4 civics as daily drivers over the years and now have opted for the Mazda this time around.

It, definitely, looks awesome. 180 hp with manual (sport version), even with Altezza lights.

I think IS300 wagons are more luxurious.

Honda better make summin' better with their 2003 Honda Accord. Though, they haven't had any word out yet.
