What a beat up POS, but cool video. I guess those trucks can take quite a beating until you light them on fire

at the toyota i dealer i work at, we have 2 customers that both have 92 toyota half ton pickups auto, 4x4 v6. that have 620k and 640k on them no freakin lie, original motors and trans. they are in at least once a month for oilchanges and such

Everytime I think Toyota Pickup, I get reminded of the black one with driving lights that was in the first Back to the Future. Back then that was a bad ass truck. Still looks pretty mean today too.

I remember that episode. It was pretty incredible what they could do to a little compact pickup and still have it roll away.

My dad owned a very similar truck ('89 4x2), and his was basically the same way. Aside from oil changes, tires, brakes, and maybe a clutch, the truck never gave him one bit of problem for the 10 years he owned it. Pretty much sold me on Toyota trucks. Now he has a Tundra LTD that is heading in the same direction.

i got rid of my 1985 with .280K miles & got a 99 with 100K miles

they are somewhat hard to work on compounded by the situation
manuals are very expensive, cant download, no cd versions, its a 2 set book.
