This just in, Amy Winehouse has been drug free for 96 hours...great job!!

 

Two things: One male vs female; guys on this board don't give two shits about Amy Winehouse, go join a Lou Boutin or Purse forum, and I'm sure theyve shed enough tears to flood the Mississippi. Also, expectancy. Ryan Dunn's death was a shock, it was instantaneous, it was crude, it was dangerous, it wasn't expected. No one questioned that a crack, heroine, and alcohol addict who refused to get help was going to die a early death, it was just a matter of when. That when was no; no one is shocked, this was expected. It's hard for a lot of people to mourn for someone who was so blatantly massochistic, and ignored the countless attempts for outreach.

 

I didn't really give a shit, or know that much about her when I heard the news. I was intrigued by the popularity of her death so I started doing some light reading (wikipedia) and watched some interviews with her when she was sober. I thought she was a pretty cool standard gal, pretty intelligent. I don't care for her music, but she has a great voice and was a natural singer.

It's a waste of talent and is pretty damn sad, just like Cobain (which many people also seem to hate).

As far as Dunn's death vs. Winehouse; Dunn's is more popular and filled with hate than Winehouse because he made a terrible decision. Also, he would have gotten lots of hate anyways if he hadn't drove drunk just because of the noteriety of the Jackass crew, people stereotype everyone in that crew and assume they're all "no good".

 

 

Amy Winehouse isn't dead -- She just went home!

 

Remember also, Ryan took his passenger with him.

 

The "Jackass" posted photo of himself drinking just before the crash...and took a passenger with him...could have killed others.

Winehouse, on the other hand, most likely overdosed herself in her room and expired quietly.

I donno...why would some people trash Winehouse but not the "Jackass?"

 

'Cause the jackass made people laugh and had a cool car.

It's sad, but celebrity trumps character these days when it comes to admiration.

 

BS. Dunn was a dipshit with no talent from the get-go. I'm even happier that he's dead because now maybe people will think twice before they attempt such moronic stunts. I NEVER thought Jackass was cool. The only ones who think Dunn or Jackass is cool are 12yr olds or rednecks. I hope Darwin takes them all out. At least Winehouse had the decency to do herself in on her own and didn't take anyone else down with her.

 

Thats a horrible thing to say about anyone. I hope it makes you feel better about your life.
