Can you guys believe it? The founder (Dennis Tito) of the company that I work for will be leaving for the International Space Station on April 28th. I still can't believe he spent $20 million just so he can travel out to space for a week. It's kinda funny sometimes the kind of e-mails that are sent to our webmaster e-mail alias. We've been getting a lot of e-mails that support him and some that are downright nasty. Oh, well. Just thought I'd share from one fellow S2000 owner to another...

20 millions? I though you only need 10. Man! But I'm sure that his name will be engraved as the first commercial passenger to space.

That 20mil would have gone a long way to help private interprise get the rest of us to space. But, it's his money.

According to one of my coworkers who work closely with him, Tito payed significantly less than the $20 million. Oh, well... I guess I know where the rest of my pay raise went to...

I wonder what significantly less is, only 19 million.

Stupid as it is, I put a small fund together, seperate from everything else, just for the chance to hit outer space. I put a little money in every month, and if it turns out to be a bust, I'll just blow it on a Diablo. Long way to go, but hey, can you imagine the photo-op's ?
