The Triple Crown of Thruhiking
Hey everyone. Been on this forum as an owner for over 15 years at this point.
About 4 years ago I announced that I’d be attempting a Northbound Thruhike of the Appalachian Trail. A trail that stretches 2,190 miles from Georgia to Maine, traversing the Appalachian mountain range and going thru 14 states.
Since then, I’ve successfully Thruhiked the Appalachian Trail, the 2,653 mile Pacific Crest Trail, and just finished the 3,000 mile Continental Divide Trail to achieve the Triple Crown of backpacking.
In the history of the American scenic trails, there have been less than 700 people to ever successfully hike all 3.
I’m here to tell you all something you may already know. Hiking is pretty dope. There’s nothing like disconnecting from society in Nature.
