Default Is this true?!

from one of my friend :

"I have been reading some of the EULAs (end user license agreements) lately. Frontpage in Office XP supposedly contains a clause to prohibit posting of web pages that talk negatively about Microsoft. (I still use Office 2000 here)."

EULAs are the main reason we have bug-ridden shit for software to use.
- You've agreed to it by opening the package, which contains the EULA.
- Unlike every other contract in the world, you have no ability to negotiate the terms.
- The whole concept of accepting something new "as-is" is contradictory to consumer logic. Would someone buy a new car, or a new house, or a new vacuum cleaner, and accept it if it was fundamentally flawed (I'm talking the engine not starting AT ALL, not about a particular handling trait). That's what EULAs say.
- etc etc

EULAs are pure BS. Microsoft is probably the worst, as evidenced by the FrontPage EULA mingster pointed out...
