twitter is only good for celebs to break the 4th wall and bridge the gap to their fans.

beyond that, its simply people who think their lives are more important than they really are.

I thought thats what myspace/facebook was for?

i tried twitter out for about 2 weeks then closed my account.

if you are a
-celebrity
-business owner
-etc

fine, makes sense.
if not, the thing is completely pointless.

But for it to "work" there has to be some group of people interested in following their worthless tweets. Twitter followers should be shot.

You can't beat the awesome that is the Facebook.

Anyone see the article about the death of Facebook and the rise of Twitter? One of the major points of the article is "There's a reason why we lost contact with old friends." I'm imagining the journalist to have very little friends and a lot of acquaintances.
