Went to the U2 show here in Chi-town last night (their last of 4 shows here) and what a great show! I have seen U2 on most of their tours since about '87 and this did not disappoint. It was a great mix of new and old. All the great U2 "anthems" as well as about 6 songs off the new album.

Hats off to this great band for 20 years of great music!

 

I saw the second show of the US tour here in Sunrise, FL... from a suite, no less. The show was great.... and unlike the first night in FL when they opened the tour, Bono did NOT get all saucy and fall of the stage.

 

Damn it...

I missed this tour and I heard it was badass. I went to the past three tours: Zoo TV, Zoo TV outside (I think that was the name of it), Pop tour.

I still prefer their older songs. For instance, songs on War, Unforgettable Fire, and Joshua Tree.

 

Nice thats all good news i have tickets to the u2 concert jun 8 this year in boston, cant wait.

Yeah, they did a lot of old stuff, which made me very, very happy, as a lot of the newer stuff is crapola, IMHO. The live versions of the tunes off of the new album were far better than the studio tracks.
