Default The unmitigated gall of Enron...

After ing the country over by manipulating the markets - and having been caught red-handed on tape (Enron traders discussing the various schemes used to bilk the nation) Enron is now suing a local PUD for 122 million dollars because they canceled their contract with those thieves.

Have you heard the tapes of those traders? It's appalling.

Ken Lay and all his friends should be doing hard time.

It's amazing that these bastards can steal billions and get slaps on the wrist and some terminally ill cancer patients face the wrath of Ashcroft for using THC.

It's atrocious isn't it Lig? But as long as the Bush administration is getting their cut I suppose it's ok.

They'll more than likely have the judge in their back pocket on this one.

The head of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, Woods, is a Bush appointee. I doubt we will see any action since it was FERC who said they knew of no evidence of price fixing when they kept these tapes under wrap for two years.

Sam - I hate to say it but I agree with you - why has it taken the FERC sooooo long to release the tapes? hmmmm... I wonder.

Why don't they release the names and addresses of those bozos on the tapes so everybody can drive over and take a big dump on their front lawns?
