I never had the pleasure or honor to meet Sherwin, although he was one of the nicest, kindest and most helpful people in this community. He will be missed.

God bless you Sherwin.

You should be proud of yourself and I hope the pain you feel now is replaced with the great memories you shared with Sherwin, He will be missed and remembered forever - I have experienced a very similar loss and agree that though the loss is difficult, consider yourself fortunate to have shared in such a beautiful peaceful passing.

jenny,

while i might have not known sherwin personally, i can sympathize with your tremendous loss. someone once told me that when a loved one passes away, the memories that remain with you become treasures.

while the loss is incredibly painful, prayer and time does help heal the wounds.

my prayers are with you.

It's difficult to write anything.

A piece of my soul has died with Sherwin. He was a special friend, and I will always miss him. I feel fortunate for the great times we shared. It seems like just yesterday, he was sitting here next to me at my computer and we were laughing our asses off.

Damn, I can't stop crying.

I'm going to carry on with the traditions and ideals that Sherwin shared with me. I know that is what he would want me to do.

My heart goes out to you Jenny, and to Sherwin's family and friends.

Sherwin....may you rest in peace. My deepest condolences for the family, Jenny and all those who deeply cared for him. I have never met him personally, but I have followed his progress and he was tough. He fought a battle that most of us cannot fathom.
