Default USA car dealerships...WOW

I just thought i would let you guys know...that USA car salesmen are very annoying. I have called probbly 20-30 dealerships in the past 3 months on my quest to buy an s2000, and every single salesman was annoying. They just wont take no for answer... and they are even pushy over the phone... this is how the last convo. went...

me "I am calling about the 2001 S2000 you have for sale on cars.com, there is no price posted"
salesman "it is 18,995"
me "Ok thanks, thats more then I am looking to spend"
salesman "give me your number and I will round together some pics for you"
me "no thanks, i am going to pass on this car...thanks for your time"
salesman "well what time works for you...when can you come down for a test drive"
me " you dont understand, I dont want this car, goodbye"
salesman " well, just give me your phone number and I will give you a buzz in a few days to see if you changed your mine"
me - I hung up the phone

Typically, salesman arent like that in Canada. it seems every single salesman i have spoken to in the USA acts like that. Odd

Just thought I would rant that story with you guys!!!

Well back to S2000 shopping

No need to be remotely cordial with a person like that.

He didn't respect you enough to even pay attention to what you were saying.

You'll never speak to him again, so if you wanted to you could have added in a "DIAF" before you hung up...

isn't there a number one can give out that leads to a voicemail saying "this person doesn't want to talk to you"?

There are numerous 'rejection' lines that you can give out to ugly girls at the bar..
