thehoner,

Speak of the devil. I'm trying to get a job at Lockheed as we speak. As much fun as analog to digital converters are I'd much prefer working on avionics, navigation equipment, guidance, instrumentation, telemetry... you name it. Got a job for me?

And Raptor,

I'll be sure to dig a nice sampling well, and pump a few thousand gallons of drycleaning solvents into the groundwater the day I start!

chroot-

Thanks for thinking of me. Perchloroethylene, a chlorinated hydrocarbon volatile organic compound and suspected carcinogen, is one of my favorites.

Raptor,

My girl's an environment scientist too... and she leers at every drycleaner we drive past.

Warren-

I drive by a gas station that's being remediated and I drool all down the front of myself. I get my shirt and sometimes my lap wet. It's not a pretty sight.

Raptor,

I think they have some kind of support group for that -- a nice 12-step program, I think.

Warren-

I think it's way too late for that. Chronic ingestion of toxic vapors over the years on job sites has BBQed too many of The Raptor's neurons.
