Yea, this thread is not 'pimpin' by any means.

Long story short, I've had a girl for the past four years, now I don't. This 'friend' of mine, is now around All the time and we basically are spending all sorts of time together without admitting its anything. hell, she asked me to be her valentine, and why not, she's fine and isn't a ho, and just got out of a relationship a while ago too. She has this valentines gift all picked out for me and talks about how much i'll like it, all cute like... I have NO idea for her. Can't ask any friends for idea's on what to get her, because they'd hate on us 'talking,' and it'd get back to my ex causing a potential fight. Thus, I'm on my own. S2ki, some potential good gift ideas you've used or would like to receive would help, not that i'll copy, but i could definitely use some inspiration.

I'm in the same situation, had a gf for four years and with each year the gifts got nicer and more expensive. Now have a really good friend/benefits. She had mentioned her back hurting and always wanting massages, so I got her one of those cool 5 point back massaging pads you can put on any chair with heat, it's usually $50 was on sale for like $20, plus a few flowers, chocolates and card.

If all fails you can always do perfume but I don't think you'll get any points for that.

A simple chain with a heart pendant is nice in silver and can be had for about $50.

Seriously though, don't spend dime one.

If you have to spend money, here's what you do.

1. Pick up "Casablanca." on DVD (used FTW! )
2. Pick up a bottle of Asti Spumante (It's under $10 and tastes like fizzy white grape juice - save the champagne for your bachelor party)
3. Go to her place
4. Order in pizza
5. Don't forget the

 

How much are you looking to spend?

You can always take her or just go to Build-A-Bear (or www.buildabear.com) and create a bear especially for her. Dress it up and stuff name it. It's actually not expensive at all.

Sterling Silver necklace or bracelet is always nice (Avoid anything in a small "ring" type box that could freak her out).

Or just pay attention to something she's dropped hints about, something that she might need and get it for her!

You will earn extra points if you become CREATIVE. If you do that and make it yourself you earn a ton of brownie points for that and you wont have to spend lots of $$!
