So my wife calls me today and calls me a "ding-dong" for getting a parking ticket and not paying it in the MDX. I'm the type of person that likes to take care of things when they happen so I'm a little confused now. I asked her what info it said. She said that is occurred on W 6TH (which is our wharehouse district in downtown, full of restaraunts and night clubs) and that I was double parked. Well then I think to myself why in the hell would I double park myself in the busiest area or anywhere for that matter? I wouldn't. I always use the valet in the MDX (in the S I just pay them to let me park my own car up front in one of the valet spots...better than them testing the 9k redline ). So the only logical explanation is that the valet left it double parked, possibly while moving another car, got a ticket and didn't want to show me so he threw it away. WTF! I would have been much less pissed if he would have just shoved it in the glove box so I could have at least paid it in time, it was $30-not like it was $100. Just wanted to vent and share this lovely story

 

Confront the restaurant manager or, better yet, owner.

 

I would see if you have a charge on your credit card for a restaurant that night, take the credit card bill and a copy of the ticket to the restaurant and ask for reimbursement.

yeah, I will. I'm goin to go to the owner of the Valet CO, I know a couple of peops who work for them so I'll start there. I told the wife just to pay it for now though so we don't have to deal with that also.

 

 

maybe your wife double parked, got the ticket, and blaming it on you

 

He also put 90 miles on the MDx that you didn't know about because he then put it on blocks and put in reverse.

 

At least the one for me doing brake stands in the middle of 6th got tossed out...

 

that sucks dude.... did they even tell you the time of the ticket?
better clear that up before this sat.... i don't want the mdx to be gone when we leave...
