Vancouver BC Where you at?
Hey Van guys I may be moving up to your city around Dec. I got a call a few days ago from the admin lady at the Vancouver Film school. She said I'm most likley going to be accepted into the 3D animation program. I just have to send her a few more things. Anyways if you guys can give me any info about weather, safety, what areas are good what areas are bad, the people, anything I could use would be great.
emmm.... by the time you arrived vancouver ( i assume fall term) it will be raining all over the place until next summer (or pre-summer), which is in 2003 may.

You say it rains in the winter? Does it not snow in Vancouver? How cold does it get in the winter? I'm from North Dakota so it snows here in the winter, and I've lived in Winnipeg for a year of school. Thanks for the info.
Vancouver weather is nothing like North Dakota / Manitoba/ Saskatchewan weather. It rains (maybe a bit of snow) but melts quick.
I personally find Vancouver weather depressing because of the rain and the heavy sky, but the temperature sure beats the frigid temps you are likely used to..
