Default Vanity Fair readers?

I this magazine!!

Discovered it this year, by accident, and was very surprised to see that what I thought was a superficial celebrity/cinema/luxury mag was actually one of the most enjoyable reads, with in-depth articles, incredibly precise journalistic research and very funny smaller stuff too.
The 12-page feature on Daniel Pearl's kidnapping and death was especially impressive.

I was wondering how it was perceived in the States? Here very few people know what it really is, and I spend my time trying to convince my friends that they should get a copy to verify that the magazine's motto is true : 'Glossy on the outside, gritty on the inside"

Any fans here?

I'm a fan. You should have read last month's issue talking about the in's and out's of 'Saturday Night Live' - a hit late night TV series.

Anyone who reads it knows what a great mag it is...very well researched and well written articles on all kinds of subjects. I'm with Wantone.
