Various RD S2000
I got the thinking while driving around. Honda must have had R&D with other power plants during the developement of this car. Knowing honda, they probably tried an existing power plant... from the I5 of the vigor to the V6's in the accord. Don't you think?
I wonder what ever happened to those machines. there's bound to be a V6 powered S2000 hiding somewhere in this world.
the other thing is, chevy has this Toy Box deal, where they do a bunch of demo, one off, crazy cars. Wonder if Honda has one of these.
Just wondering if those of you that went to Japan this summer got wind of any of these RD cars.

The original SSM show car had an inline 5 I believe, Not really sure why the moved away form it. But I agree, there are probably some one off's of lots of cars I would kill to own
It's stored in a warehouse full of concept cars and stuff in Japan ... They see the light of autoshows all around the world, for Honda track testing at their own grounds and no where else. They don't sell it even at the end of the day, they scrap it and send it to the wreckage with nothing valuable left. Japanese are very particular about technology, concepts and ideas being copied by other rivals.
